The VesOPS software handles the pre-verified data into the relevant compliance reporting like EU / UK MRV and IMO DCS. For EU the EUAs are calculated and penalties for Fuel EU Maritime (FEM) are given based on the fuels used in the ship. AER/CII and EEOI is given based on CO2/CO2e and performance trajectories for Poseidon principles and other schemes.
All data and reports are easily extracted through APIs for verifying bodies and other stakeholders.
Integrated compliance software
The regulatory landscape is becoming more complex and keeping track of compliance data and reporting becomes more difficult for a ship owner. To keep track and to be sure that regulatory compliance is met, VesOPS offers an integrated compliance software product. The data received from the vessels are processed in the VesOPS software, data quality is assessed, and an outlier detection routine is included as a pre-verification of the data.
A correction routine is available in the software and once the data are pre-verified, they are analysed in the software and sent to the compliance reporting, that are valid at the time of the analysis. The following reporting is covered:
- EU / UK MRV including EEOI
- IMO DCS including CII / AER
- EU ETS including an EUAs balance
- Fuel EU Maritime including a penalty balance
- KPIs related to Poseidon Principle trajectories and other commercial indicators
The reporting is always available Year to Date and can be split into different time periods and voyages.
The valid data and reports are available in the software platform and further through an API for external stakeholders like verifying bodies or other stakeholders related to the ship’s operations.
The verified data is further sent to ESG reporting for scope 1 and scope 2 compliance. All fuel sources are mapped and emission related values including Well to Wake figures and provided in a report along with other emission figures. The report fully satisfies the emission scope for the transportation part of the company.
